Simple peel & stick aquarium thermometer!

I already had a digital thermometer for my aquarium, and I really like it. I decided, however, that in case that it should get faulty, I need a backup, a “second in command” so to speak. I got this because I wanted a thermometer that was quick and simple, and this looked like it could do the trick.

When I got this, it was a simple set-up: peel the paper backing to expose the adhesive, and place it where you want on your tank. I set mine up on the opposite side of my digital thermometer, to see if each one would show the same temperature. I am not too familiar with Celsius, which is the bolder number of the two. Luckily, there is Fahrenheit on it, or I would have to learn Celsius! It didn’t take long at all to see that this quickly highlighted the same temp as the digital.

The numbers are very easy and bold enough to read from a short distance, but the color that highlights the temp could be a little brighter – at least for my liking. I do like that it isn’t a large strip, but short and sweet at 5”. It has been on my tank for almost a week, and it hasn’t varied on the temperature or lost its adhesive. All in all, this has earned its keep here.
