I originally got these because my son is doing a play at school and it calls for a farmhand. He part calls for attire that farmers would wear, and I figured that bandanas would be a benefit to his costume. The bandanas that we have around the house are either too decorative, worn out, or definitely not something one would wear on stage (destroyed).

I happen to get one of these saturated with water, wring it out somewhat, roll it like it would go on your neck, put it in a sandwich bag and put it in the freezer for a few hours. When you get warm from doing work outside, take it out of the bag in the freezer and apply it to the back of your neck – it makes your work involving the outside a lot less miserable.
