Some assembly required for this towel rack!

Our master bathroom needed a towel rack, badly. All we had in there was a single wooden peg, and the circular one that is by the sink. – the peg was beginning to warp, and the towels would just slide off and end up on the floor. I saw this one and liked the simplicity of its designed. It wasn’t just a single bar rack that you mount, it also a shelf.

It was a little more than expected as far as putting it together – some assembly required. I needed my drill, level, a hammer, and the tiny Allen wrench that comes with the rack. What made it a lot easier, and a way to eliminate the need for a measuring tape was the installation diagram that has the holes precut and measured out on a horizontal sheet of paper. That made setting it up a lot easier, because I can’t really tell the little lines on a measuring tape, unless it’s the increments everyone knows.

Very self-explanatory – drill 4 holes, hammer anchors in, screw in metal clips, attach towel rack, and tighten on the bottom with the wrench provided. Make sure to get it tight, or else it will be somewhat wobbly. The turning of the wrench can prove to be difficult, due to the fact that you can only turn ½ at a time due to the wall.

All in all, I like the way it looks on the wall – sturdy, modern, and has that “chrome” finish appeal to it. I have put towels of different sizes (hand to beach), and it doesn’t seem to weigh the bar down at all, even with the items that I have on the top shelf. I may have to get another one to put in my bathroom now!
