I am an avid coffee drinker!
However, I am picky on what it is – mainly, I only like home brewed, because
I know what kind it is and what, if anything, can be added. So, when I saw this, and the fact that it had
a quirky nickname, I had to try it out.
First off, what I noticed about it, is like most coffee bags, this one
is resealable with a sandwich seal type of lock. The bags I have purchased have that tab on
each side of the bag, you roll the top, and press the tabs in. It gets irritating if you close the tab the
wrong way, because it comes unrolled. Plus,
the bag isn’t your normal size, and you can lay it flat in your fridge to save
space.
I enjoy the whole bean approach, and not already ground. I love the smell of coffee beans, and
sometimes, I know it’s bad, but I tend to eat one or two when I am grounding
them in the grinder. The smell of the
coffee is robust, and the taste is as well.
I usually not a fan of straight black coffee, and I usually add a lot of
sugar and some cream. With this coffee,
I only have to add half the sugar I usually do, but I still add my cream. I did try it straight though, and although it’s
strong for me, it was smooth. My hats off to www.koffeekult.com!
