Can be used as more than just a choker!

My daughter has begun to take notice of makeup and jewelry a few years ago. She was more in to makeup that she was jewelry. However, all of that changed once she received gifts that contained necklaces and bracelets, and then all of a sudden, she got the bug for accessorizing with jewelry. She had enough of chains and was looking or something that was a dangle or a small accessory.

What I liked about this is the fact it was it a leather strip, and not jewelry that can rust, lose a clasp or get your hair caught in it. Not to mention, it is sometimes difficult to open up the tiny clasp to fit a necklace around your neck, or even your wrist. This is simple: an owl charm on each end, secured with a bead and leather, and you can make your own adjustments by tying your own loops. The choker is 60” long, (5 ft.) – but remember you have to fold it over, so you are truly working with 30”, which is still enough to go around my daughter’s neck.

She likes that it’s black, for one, because it matches everything she owns. She wears jeans mostly, but her tops vary, so this choker is perfect for her. I, however, when I get to wear it, have another use for it: I turn it into a dangle bracelet. There is a lot of twisting and wrapping involved, but I happen to like the look it has when I am finished.

So, this choker can double as a choker, a bracelet, or quite possibly a bolo tie. I haven’t experimented with that option yet, but we’ll see.
