Can just toss them into your bag and go!

My son is a junior in high school and is taking college classes 30 miles away before coming back to the high school to complete the 2nd half of the day. During this, he misses the high school’s lunch – the college offers them lunch, but it is food that I wouldn’t even want to eat (warmed up corn dogs or burgers). I decided to make him lunch from home, that way I knew he was getting something he’d like and was edible!

What I like about these containers is the fact that they are compact and have locking latches on all 4 sides. Inside the container is stainless steel, which can keep the food warm up to 4 hours and also keep it cold for up to 6 hours. For his lunches, I usually put a homemade sandwich in one and chips in the other. I like that I can put chips in them, and not have to worry about them breaking like they would in a sandwich bag. Same goes for the sandwich – the container keeps it cool and the same shape as when it left the house, and not flattened in a bag. He just tosses them in his backpack, and he is good to go!

I have also used them to put left overs in – however, they are NOT microwave safe, hence the stainless steel interior. They are also not dishware-safe, which doesn’t matter much to me, seeing as how I don’t have one! They are also leak-proof – I found that out when I put soup in one, sealed it to put in the fridge, and accidentally dropped it on the floor. The lid didn’t pop off, nor did any soup leak out the sides of the container.
