I needed a
light in my little laundry closet – there are no light fixtures in it and doing
laundry in the evening can be a real chore.
I purchased this to make doing laundry in the evening somewhat easier
for my kids and myself.
I got it and
mounted the back plate with the screws provided – you can either use the screws
or the two-sided tape it comes with as well.
Of course, I charged it first,
which was about 3-4 hours, because it came partially charged when I got
it. The light, when it is charging with
the USB cord it came with, omits a red light from the sensor on the bottom of
the light. When it is fully charged, the
light will change colors.
I set it up
and turned it to Auto. I actually had to
change it to “On”, due to the fact that it is always dark in my laundry area
when it has dual pull-out doors that let no light in, and the light wasn’t
turning off. It does make it easier to
see the displays on my washer/dryer, as well as the clothes themselves. I have had it in there for almost 2 weeks,
and have yet to charge it since I first put it up. I am curious to see how long it lasts…I will
keep you posted on when I finally do.
